Sherpa Advisor

Sherpa Advisor is the LLM-enabled cloud chat assistant for product and spectroscopy help. It is designed to make SpectraSherpa easier to learn, especially for users who know their instruments and samples but do not want to memorize every chemometrics node before starting.

  • interpreting PCA, PLS, SIMCA, or MCR outputs
  • understanding preprocessing options

  • asking what to inspect next
  • translating UI concepts into spectroscopy language

Keep In Mind

Advisor is an aid. It can suggest useful checks, but it can also be incomplete or wrong. Confirm scientific conclusions with spectra, plots, metrics, sample IDs, file provenance, validation design, lab records, and domain knowledge.

Advisor behavior depends on the hosted service configuration and may be rate limited in demo mode. If an enterprise deployment uses BYOK or a customer-selected provider, model behavior, availability, data-handling terms, and cost controls depend on that supplier too.
