10 Minutes on SpectraSherpa Cloud

Use this path to run a first spectroscopy workflow on the hosted demo.

1. Sign In

Open demo.spectrascientific.ai, create a free demo account, and enter access code:

welcome_to_spectra_sherpa

Demo access is intentionally shareable within reasonable limits, so colleagues can try the same product experience. The production demo defaults are 100 workflow executions/hour, 5000 workflow executions/day, 50 Sherpa interactions/hour, 1000 Sherpa interactions/day, and 1 successful upload event/week per user.

2. Import Data

Open Data > Import. Upload a small IR/Raman dataset or use a bundled starter dataset. Check:

  • Files
  • Metadata
  • Data Matrix

3. Start With PCA

Open Workflows and choose a PCA starter. Run it and inspect scores, loadings, and explained variance.

4. Try Calibration or Classification

If your data has targets, use a PLS calibration starter. If it has labels, use KNN, PLS-DA, or SIMCA.

5. Read the Report

Open the report page after a run. If AI narrative is available, use it as an interpretation aid. If not, the plots and metrics remain the scientific record.

6. Ask Advisor

Ask practical questions such as:

  • What does this PCA score plot suggest?
  • Which preprocessing should I try next?
  • Are these PLS metrics good enough to trust?

Advisor is there to help you use the product, not to replace scientific judgment.

Demo Limits to Remember

Demo accounts are for evaluation. Sessions expire after 24 hours, and inactive non-admin demo accounts are cleaned up after 7 days. Do not upload confidential, regulated, or irreplaceable data to the public demo.
